Royal Society tarafından doktora derecesini almış araştırmacılar için “Newton Advanced Fellowships” çağrısı açılmıştır. Söz konusu çağrı ile ilgili detaylar şu şekildedir:

Distinguished Researcher,

Royal Society has launched “Newton Advanced Fellowships” Scheme to provide established international researchers with an opportunity to develop the research strengths and capabilities of their research group through training, collaboration and reciprocal visits with a partner in the UK.

Subjects Covered

Research must be within the Society’s remit of natural sciences. The Society does not support clinical or interventional research on humans at the individual or group level, social sciences or humanities.

Eligibility

Applicant from Turkey (Overseas Applicant)

· The overseas-based project leader (“the Applicant”) must have completed a PhD or have extensive research experience at an equivalent level at the time of application.

· The Applicant must be working as an independent researcher at a Turkish institution and should not have more than 15 years of post-doctoral research experience.

UK-based Co-applicant

· The UK-based researcher (“the Co-applicant”) must have completed a PhD or have extensive research experience at an equivalent level at the time of application.

Value of Funding and Support Provided

The maximum award value cannot exceed £111,000 for a three-year period (up to a maximum of £37,000 per year).
