Istanbul University has been awarded funding for two different project proposals from the NATO Public Diplomacy Unit!"
Associate Prof. Özgün ERLER BAYIR's project proposal titled "Learn 2 Unite: Simulation-based Learning to Unite against NATO’s Emerging Challenges" has been awarded support by the NATO Public Diplomacy unit. The "Learn 2 Unite" project aims to enable young people in Turkey to better understand NATO and its decision-making processes through simulation, thereby contributing to Turkey-NATO relations and dialogue.
In addition, Dr. Adviye Damla Ünlü's project titled "NATO for Peace and Security: Interacting with Youth, Promoting Women, Peace and Security Agenda (NATOfPaS)" has also been awarded support by the NATO Public Diplomacy Unit. The NATOfPaS project, led by Dr. Ünlü, with the participation of Istanbul University Faculty of Political Sciences Associate Professor Prof. Dr. Nurcan Özgür Baklacıoğlu, aims to examine NATO's Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) and Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agendas, along with its core values and policies. Planned project activities will involve the participation of 34 students from different regions of Turkey.
